Improving the well-being of women in public space
Public space plays an important role in our quality of life and wellbeing.
From ensuring areas that enhance the safety of pedestrians through proper lighting, to creating infrastructures that promote more active and healthy leisure.
But when addressing these issues, it must be taken into account that there is still an imbalance that disadvantages women in how space is experienced, perceived, and used.

In this hackathon, our participants will reflect on this issue, analysing the stakeholders involved, possible improvements, and other factors through design thinking and creativity.

It will be a space for reflection with students, professionals, and mentors, where ideas can be shared and common conclusions reached to help improve people’s lives and, in this case, especially those of women. Sign up before 23 October!
